these things would apply pressure on my calves in intervals to help keep the circulation on my legs.

at first, it kinda felt good; later, it became annoying.

How are you doing J.? Get well soon! — babski, 09/04/2006 10:03

hi babski! thanks for your concern. I actually had a post-op complication that caused a snag on my recovery. I'll go more into detail about it, later. right now, it just feels that I'm finally on the road to recovery. — Abraxias, 10/04/2006 00:11

when i first saw this picture i thought you'd bought yourself some leg-warming-thingies to keep warm during the winter. — dthprod, 12/04/2006 11:03

uuummmmmm… winter's over, bud. anyhow, I do feel that I'm now starting to recover! the pain of the surgery is still random but fortunately less frequent! last night, I was able to sleep almost uninterrupted (the random pain usually wakes me up); I haven't slept comfortably since the operation. I do hope to get better before the 18th. I planned a short (1 week) trip back to L.A. over a month ago (way before my appendectomy) and I don't want to postpone that trip. anyhow, thanks for your concern. — Abraxias, 12/04/2006 12:29
